There are four units in the house and the free-standing Fish House cottage on the water. The units are all freshly painted with new bed linens and towels. Expect an authentic Maine summer experience without air conditioning but in a location that is startlingly beautiful and wonderfully peaceful.

The property is beautifully landscaped with a large pier that was built for lobster boats and a floating dock that has deep water at low tide. 49 Pier Road is within easy walking distance of several restaurants, a grocery store and a gourmet take-out and bakery.

Kennebunkport is known for its "Fish Houses," built on piers over the various harbors and tidal inlets. They were built as storage and work barns for the fisherman. Our Fish House was converted into a guest cottage about 40 years ago. Since then, it has been rented every summer to repeat visitors. We recently bought the property and decided to continue the rental tradition.
